About Rent Event

What We Do

Experts in vintage style hire and special event prop hire, we are based in Eastbourne in East Sussex and cover East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Essex and the whole of the UK. From unique and fantastic props to bell tent hire for weddings, events and festivals, we bring fun, character and charisma to any celebration, all driven by our genuine love for the outdoors. Family run, we take everything personally; nothing is too much trouble and every event is bespoke to suit you, your dreams and your ideas. We’ll discuss your plans in detail, offer suggestions and help you choose from our range of vintage, quirky and beguiling items.

Rent Event came into being while organising our own wedding, when we realised many of the things we loved were not easily available or affordable to hire locally or nationwide. With research, time and experience, we sourced those magical items and ensured they were high quality, affordable and easy to incorporate into event budgets. And so Rent Event was born.

How We Do It

We personally love all things vintage, quirky and outdoors, so putting together our product range, including our bell tent hire for weddings, events and festivals, has been fun, although exhausting. As well as providing the perfect props, we can also assist with party staging and accessorising, ensuring everything comes together where and when it should. Attention to detail is our thing and customer service is something we focus on every minute of every day.

Our carefully sourced creations come from far and wide; if we spot something perfect for our range, we go and get it. Predominantly vintage, with many reclaimed, handmade or outdoor-inspired pieces, our items are procured through an extensive network of trusted suppliers, with great attention to detail always at the forefront when sourcing or creating items for hire.
